I was actually looking at Ren’py the other day, but am too lazy to learn Python.

But…if Ekko is self-motivated (and wants to learn Python), there’s a Coursera course my eldest took (they’re free on-line, although you are sometimes at their mercy for when you can take a class). https://www.coursera.org/ I can offer some other possibilities (or pick my eldest’s brains) if she’s interested in computer game making that’s user friendly. You actually “conversed” with him the other day. 🙂

My teenager knows all about Choose Your Own Adventure novels. It’s hard to find the older ones, but he enjoys the ones we already have.
