You know, I feel similar. I’ve been trying to get in shape lately, but the idea of walking/running with no destination drives me batty too. It’s okay when I’m walking to/from a destination, but otherwise? All the nerves that I could be doing something else at the same time.
This is why I don’t walk more. And the fact that the circumference of my entire town is about a mile and a half. The only way walking really works for me is if I’m trying to think, usually about a story I’m writing. For some reason, sometimes walking lubricates my brain. But it usually takes a while, and I’m just starting to get some useful thoughts by the time I finish my walk.
We have a treadmill set up in front of a TV that now has an Amazon Fire TV hooked up to it. I watch Netflix while I walk/run. Might be a pretty lazy way to exercise, but it works for us.

*laugh* That’s the problem of having so many things to do! I know how you feel, Sushi.

Oh wow! Small town!
I like to listen to music or podcasts when I walk.
Lots of great geeky podcasts and stuff out there.
I’m also loving Song Exploder (podcast). SO GOOD.
Ugh. When I WALK.
Can I edit comments?
I fixed it! ^_^

I run on the treadmill at the gym. 😀
