Sometimes mom asks us questions, and all of us in the room, including her, knows she won’t understand. And I’m not saying she’s dumb, not at all. But she doesn’t watch Marvel films, nor anything remotely super-hero, fantasy, or sci-fi. It’s so far remote of her actual experience that no amount of words would help her comprehend it.
Trying to explain Doctor Strange to her is like you trying to explain empathy to me.
