Comic #141 – “Mother Fail”

MNE_20150605_141Leezet wanted to do a comic for my birthday, so she sent me a comic which she put together by searching through the comics and cutting and pasting them.

And then, to create her daughter Joy, she took Zoe and messed up her hair with the note: “Zoe and Joy look similar except Joy is darker with messier black hair.”

In the end, I just redid the comic. I guess I have a Joy character now.

Now, you may wonder why Joy has a heart for a symbol. When she was younger, she was explaining to one of my children how something ‘hurt her heart’. Me, being the sensitive asian that I am broke out into laughter. That didn’t help matters at all.

I’m surprised Leezet allows me to be around her daughter at times.

Comic #132 – “Forgot”

I remember wondering if we should do another Escape Room that night. Ekko reminded us that she needed to get to bed. Good grief.

Of course, we were two hours ahead because of the whole time zone thing. So 12am is 2am our time.

And yes, Leezet is an awesome sister. She paid for us. ^_^ (At least, eventually paid for us!)

Now, to be fair, she did offer twice and he said that we could pay later.

Comic #131 – “Thoughts”

MNE_20150526_131Honestly, I don’t know why we venture out in a vehicle if it’s just Leezet and I. I have a horrible sense of direction. And I don’t think Leezet knows where’s she’s going half the time.

We get it from our dad.

Comic #130 – “Hint”

MNE_20150525_130Did you get a chance to play the cat game yesterday? Hah! So funny.

I hate asking for hints, I want to do a room on its own. When I have to ask for a hint and it ends up being a lack of searching on our part, frustrates me to no end.

And here? Well, that was rather unfair if you ask me.

Btw, if you’ve noticed on EscRoomAddict a review for a Calgary Escape Room, note its high rating. We loved that room and the one in this webcomic is not the same room.
