When I open up the little door of the battery compartment and see the little round battery or triple-A batteries, my heart sinks. I just don’t want to confront that.

You should have a supply of AAA handy. Or maybe I have more electronics than you. :p
But the round ones? So many sizes. So little supply in stores. *shudder*
