Free long distance for your phone? Check out the Fongo app. Free Canadian number, calling. $10 every 6 months if you want SMS on it too. I use that with a “tablet plan” from fido for a super-cheap service.
I probably should, but admittedly, I only make long distance calls a few times a year… on holidays and birthdays. 😀 Maybe I should call my parents more.
Well Fongo is free for just phone calls to most of Canada. Not sure how they do it, but I find it handy.
