You’re not alone. My eighteen years old sister can suddenly burst into ‘It’s My Life’ or ‘Burning Heart’ or one of the million songs with titles I can never catch.
Sometimes I join in and the only lyrics reference I get is listening to her sing with half an ear. She’s tired of correcting me when I sing “I’m gonna be another wave in the ocean, I am a rock star with a little bit of sand.”
Admittedly, the music wasn’t THAT loud. Loud enough she couldn’t hear me.
