As somebody who has studied WW2, I’d say Kristallnacht was more a symptom of what developed into the war than the cause. You might ask Ekko what she knows about the treaty of Versailles (and the effect that such a punitive treaty might have had on Germany), the Wall Street Crash of 1929 and Germany’s struggle to produce enough food to feed its own population.
