There is a bit of time skip here. This is coming back from a trip to Ottawa for the funeral, which I won’t really do comics on.
Dan is the dad of Maya, who visited us a few comics ago (and also the brother of Keren). He’s someone who understands things in the real world, which I don’t, unless it’s attached to a keyboard.
Turnabout is fair play.
My youngest asked how this pertained to the above situation. I said – he gives them grief all the time. He said (approximately) – well, what does he expect? You troll, you raise trolls.
So maybe I should have gone with — you reap what you sow.
(I may be a bit overly snarky having binge read “The Murderbot Diaries”. Can one binge read? Or is only video permitted. Existential questions abound.)
They can’t trust you to do anything, can they?
Oh yeah, you can binge read. Finding a new series with 5-6 books (or more – when I was sick once I read all 14 (at the time) of Kris Longknife) will often entail days of all my free time deep in books…
Whew! What a relief. 🙂 I can go back to my book now. 🙂
What’s this “binge reading” that you speak of? Sounds like normal reading to me. 😀
Binge reading is when you stay up until 4am (or later) reading a book and then need to get up in a few hours to go to work. Regular reading is when you figure out that if you just stop in the middle of this not-too-exciting bit, you can go to bed at 2am (and get up in a few more hours and go to work).
