MY kids (within your kids in age, a bit older) not only know Calvin & Hobbes (and the eldest owns the complete collection) but the Marx Brothers, Mel Brooks, M*A*S*H*, Wodehouse and host of other “obscure” things. However, they don’t know much about Pokemon. I consider it a win. 🙂
My kids know who C&H are too! I should dig those comic anthologies out again.
