We have 3 boys in one room and 1 girl in the other. We do have another room, but that’s my home office. If we didn’t need a school room, I could move my office down there, but as it is, that room is the most used on e in the house. Our plans for this house never included us needing our rec room as a school room.

If you paint your room AS the TARDIS, it might make it bigger on the inside.
