When Ekko comes home from class, she teaches Zoe things she’s learned. And then they try and have conversations with me in sign language and I know nothing. But they do try and teach me.

Is she taking it through CHS? I took 101 last term and am hoping to take 102 in the fall. (I just got my grade yesterday.) I can sign with her if she wants.
Ekko is awesome.
She needs people to practice! She is at Bob Rumball Center for the Deaf this week. Immersive class for a week- they say “leave your voice at the door”. I am amazed at how much she is learning!
It’s really cool that she’s doing it. It’s a fun language to learn, though there’s a steep learning curve because the grammar is mostly in your face. I’d be happy to practise with her at some point. I need practice myself so I don’t forget everything before the fall.
