Post type for Comics
This weekend has been busy. Watched some anime with my girls and then went out with Keren. Last night, went to see Trevor Noah (comedian) and he was hilarious. We also went apple picking. Well, I didn’t go apple picking. I just sat in the car.
And today, have a birthday party I am attending!
And I called my mom. Well, my mom called when I was talking to my sister, so we went on a group call. Her birthday is on the 29th. I remember now…
No worries, we did get a chance to go out that night.
I think it’s my mom’s birthday today. Hunh. I should call her.
Huzzah, Friday! I think this weekend is booked for me but I don’t have work to do! How awesome is that?!
Although, I should get started on NaNoToons…
Debbie Ridpath Ohi is an illustrator and a writer whom I have known for many years now. I consider her to be my mentor because she taught me a lot about social media and promoting myself, especially when Debs & Errol became a band I needed to promote.
Always encouraging, always a joy to be with, I was so happy to have dinner with her!
She did mention Periscope and I thought it’d be really cool. I dunno, if I set up a time when I’m streaming how I make a comic, would that be of interest?
You guys are probably wondering, why DOES Manpans hang out with us? I honestly don’t know.
I haven’t had Mike in a comic in a while! Good grief! I blame the children, always vying for comic time.
BTW, I’m thinking I should promote my comic. What are some slogans I could use?
“A vapid, non-pretentious webcomic hipsters hate!”
“What if dad jokes were combined with geekery?”
“One man and his failed attempts at raising children.”
I need to work on these.
