There were twelve us that descended on Ryan at LockQuest. To be fair, I did let other people answer first, and their skills were just as useful as mine. Who can guess Manpan’s skill?
Rice-eating was mentioned exactly one other time, so while not original, it IS very rare.
In no particular order, here are the most common responses when we ask people which “special skill” will see them out alive after being trapped in a serial killer’s apartment:
– run (we have a “no running” rule that we highlight later 🙂
– hide
– I’m small, so I can fit into small spaces
– I’m tall, so I can reach things hidden up high
– I’d negotiate with the killer
– I’d seduce the killer
– I’d use [team member] as a human shield
– I’d [kick/punch/judo] my way out of it
Some of the more original talents include turning invisible, killing everyone before the real killer gets a chance, flying, teleporting, laser vision, tickling, and using spreadsheets.
Errol was even more completely devastated when he was told that no puzzels would involve eating anything. And so his super* power became completely useless.
* I first typed that with two ‘p’s – which actually seems somewhat appropriate..
