To be fair, I had to remove some lines from the email so that it would fit properly. She did put in something about going to a beach… 80% of it, though, was about food. That’s my girl!

Ekko arrived in LA yesterday. This happened at the airport…
To be fair, I was still the one more nervous about this.
This comic could be more poignant, talking about letting go of our children, but… meh. I wasn’t very good with things like symbolism in grade 12 English.
Comic #217 – “Rock, Paper, Cynic”
For the record, since you can’t tell ethnicity in Rock, Paper, Cynic, this comic is probably factually wrong. It could be filled with Asians and I don’t know it.
Anyway, he has a kickstarter which D&E are involved in called BorkenTelephone! There is only one day left to open up more of the stretch goals!
By the way, this looks simple to draw, but it took me a long time…

Comic #216 – “Ekko Leaves”
In Keren’s family, when a child hits 13, they go off to stay for a week with one of their relatives. We have family in California, so Ekko is going there alone for this week.
