If you’ve been a long-time reader, you may remember Memes being mentioned from time to time throughout this comic. Considering how much I’ve hung out with her and how many times she’s taken care of the kids, it’s surprising I’ve never put her in the comic.
I realized I haven’t had my mom say her catch phrase for a few days.

I honestly can’t remember if Choy talked to me at all that trip.
Sometimes mom asks us questions, and all of us in the room, including her, knows she won’t understand. And I’m not saying she’s dumb, not at all. But she doesn’t watch Marvel films, nor anything remotely super-hero, fantasy, or sci-fi. It’s so far remote of her actual experience that no amount of words would help her comprehend it.
Trying to explain Doctor Strange to her is like you trying to explain empathy to me.
