We’re almost 50 years old, and we still hide our activities from our mom.
Going Out
This happened daily. And it’s not that we wished to be dishonest, it’s more that we didn’t want to explain what an escape room was, and my mother doesn’t like the concept of me spending money.
Cookies
Was cookie breakfast a thing when I was a child? No. Why bring it up now?! And why are mangoes for breakfast weird? So many questions.
Reception Time
When I arrived at the reception, I saw a few of my cousins leaving. They were off to get some coffee, and so I joined them.
I don’t even know when we got back, but when we did, the reception hadn’t started yet.
