I think I’ve started making Fridays the start of work meeting comics. If I have a comic from work.

And to think, I didn’t know young people didn’t drink milk.

↓ Transcript
Panel 1 (continuing from yesterday) -
Errol: There was milk in the fridge, but I'm lactose intolerant.
Workmate #1: I guess people still need milk for coffee.
Workmate #2: Because of all the milk propaganda.

Panel 2 -
Errol: No one drinks milk here?
Workmate #1: No.
Workmate #2: I don't.
Workmate #3: I'll put some in my coffee.
Workmate #4: It's propaganda, you know.

Panel 3 -
Errol: Wait, is that a young people thing? Does your generation not drink milk?
Workmate #1: Not really.
Workmate #2: Maybe for cereal.
Workmate #3: I have soy.
Workmate #4: Propaganda.

Panel 4 -
Errol: How am I so out of touch with what young people do?
Workmate #1: Because you're a dad?
Workmate #2: You're old.
Jon: Drinking milk is just propaganda perpetuated by the milk industry!
Workmate #3: We're the marketing team. We know what propaganda is, Jon.

  1. I drink milk (the stuff made by cows). It is my favorite beverage and if it wasn’t so caloric, I would drink more than my evening glass with dessert (I drink 2% – less than that and it tastes repulsive to me). But I probably qualify as “old”. My offspring (who are young) drink plenty too. We go through 3-4 gallons of milk (and 3 gallons of OJ) a week when everyone is in the house. (Although I bake a bunch too so it’s not all straight consumption). So – I don’t know. Maybe propaganda? Maybe it just tastes yummy.

Regardless, you can’t make ice cream without it.

    1. Two of us in the house can’t drink it because of lactose intolerance. But Keren and Ekko drink it.
