Star Boxes

The Star Boxes is a local charity put on by the Toronto Star (a newspaper) that gifts presents to children in need. They get volunteers around the city to deliver, and Keren organizes a group at our church to deliver about 500 boxes. Or more? I can’t remember.

We do it every year, and Manpans joins us, but I can’t recall if I’ve put that in a comic before. I was probably too lazy to draw boxes, just like I am now.

Exercise Together

Keren does exercises geared towards an older female demographic, and so they have different music than the ones I have. I don’t know which music I’d prefer to exercise to: royalty-free dance music, or royalty-free country music.

I was almost debating downloading videos I like and just putting them to Black Pink. That’d be a lot of work though…

Dad-Free Zone

I noticed I say “Oh” a lot in the comics. I was going to put another “oh” in the next panel and I was all, “Wait, I can’t just start every conversation with “oh”.

Package Dropoff

To explain more, for our Secret Santa, instead of buying a gift, we buy a book for the person as if they were a child. And then the book gets donated! Last year, I had someone who’s name was Raman. I was desperate trying to find a book about Ramen but failed. So sad.
